2. General information on data processing

As a rule we only process personal data of our visitors to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website and our content, or where you actively send us data (for example via the contact form). This website uses no analytics or tracking services, embeds no external fonts, maps or scripts and establishes no connection to third-party servers.

3. Hosting and server logs

This website is operated on our own servers in Germany. On every visit the web server automatically records information transmitted by your browser (so-called server logs): IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, referrer URL, browser and operating system used.

Processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technical provision, stability and security of the website, for example detecting abuse and attacks. Log data is deleted automatically after a short period.

4. Contact form and email contact

If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the details you provide (name, email address, where applicable business and telephone number as well as the content of your message) solely in order to handle your enquiry.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures or performance of a contract) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for processing and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.

5. Cookies and local storage

This website sets no tracking cookies. We only store your choice in the cookie notice and – on the language selection page – the language version you chose. Both are held in the local storage of your browser, are technically necessary within the meaning of section 25 (2) TDDDG and contain no personal data.

6. Recipients of your data

Your data is not passed on to third parties unless this is necessary to perform a contract or required by law. We operate servers and mailboxes ourselves in Germany; we conclude a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR with our customers as part of the software contract. This policy covers the devypos.com website only, not the processing within an operated DevyPOS instance.

Your rights

You have the following rights against us regarding your personal data:

A message to info@devypos.com is enough to exercise them. Irrespective of this, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; for us this is the Independent Data Protection Centre of Saarland, Fritz-Dobisch-Straße 12, 66111 Saarbrücken, Germany.

Data security

This website is delivered exclusively over an encrypted connection (TLS); you can tell by the padlock symbol in your browser. Our servers are located in a German data centre and are continuously updated and monitored.

Changes to this policy

We adapt this privacy policy as soon as the processing changes – for example when we run advertising. The version available here applies. This English text is a translation for convenience; the legally binding version is the German one.
