DevyPOS is built for venues that deliver, hand over and serve at the same time. Everything below is sorted by what happens when in your business.
The till is built for speed: large areas, a number pad, a search field and quick keys – made for a busy Friday night, not for a demo.
Three order types with their own rules and their own prices. Collection prices can differ from delivery prices without maintaining the menu twice.
Type the item number or search by name – a few letters are enough and the result list appears.
“No onions”, “extra cheese”, double toppings: changes appear on the ticket and are priced correctly per size.
For items with sizes the selection opens automatically. Side dishes or pasta types can be set as required – nothing is forgotten.
A freely assignable tile panel for bestsellers, promotions and kitchen notes such as “well baked” or “spicy”.
For everything that is not on the menu: pick the item, enter the price, done – properly booked instead of “on the house”.
DevyPOS recognises the number, knows the customer and knows where they live. That saves half a minute on every call.
When the phone rings the customer appears with name, address and last order. One click and the order is running.
All current and today’s calls in one list – known numbers in green, unknown in red. From there straight on as delivery or collection.
A Germany-wide directory finds streets even from partial words and fills in postcode, town and district itself.
While you type the name the till shows possible matches. A new phone number is attached to the existing customer with one click.
Every address shows distance and estimated driving time – the basis for an honest delivery time on the phone.
Marketing consent per channel, information and deletion at the touch of a button: the customer base stays GDPR-ready without paper files.
Delivery businesses earn their money on the road. DevyPOS maps exactly that: zones, fees, tours and what each driver gets at the end.
Several postcodes per zone, its own minimum order value and its own delivery fee – optionally with a “free from” threshold.
Bundle several orders into one tour, assign a driver, record the return. You always see who is out and with how much cash.
At the end of the shift you see per driver what was collected and what has to be handed in – with a receipt to sign.
Hours times hourly rate, a flat rate per trip or mileage – you set the method per business.
“In an hour” is accepted by the till and announced in the kitchen in good time.
Two numbers in the till header – collection and delivery – apply immediately to phone orders and the online shop when it gets busy.
When you serve in the venue, the same till keeps working – with a table plan instead of a delivery list.
Rooms, tables and counters like in the real venue, freely arranged. Occupied tables show the total and the time.
Separate bills, moving to another table or merging two tables – all without ringing anything up again.
Every member of the service team has their own till: open, collected and settled orders neatly separated, including partial settlement.
Table, time, number of people and a note – straight from the table plan.
At the end of the shift a receipt with the amount the employee hands in or receives – with a signature line.
Who may void, give a discount or see reports? You define that per role, not per person.
Every DevyPOS instance comes with an online shop at your address and in your design. You maintain the menu once – till and shop show the same thing.
In the “Complete” plan your venue gets its own app under your name. Regulars order with two taps – without a portal in between.
Experience shows that publication in the App Store and on Google Play takes one to three weeks and depends on the review by Apple and Google. Your online shop is already running in the meantime.
Order, follow the status, order again – on the device that is in their hand anyway.
New orders announce themselves audibly at the till, waiting collections stay visible in the bar.
You open the back office in a browser – at the counter, in the office or from home.
Product groups, items, sizes, ingredients and recipes in one place. Changes take effect immediately in the till, the shop and the app.
Promotions by weekday, time, product group and order type – for example “family pizza Tuesday” or “collection minus 10%”.
Issue and redeem vouchers, shown in their own block on the end-of-day closing.
Deposits, withdrawals, goods purchases and private withdrawals with booking types and VAT analysis instead of free text.
Revenue by day, product group, order type and employee – plus a finance report that derives the cash balance step by step.
If you run two venues, each gets its own instance with its own data – with one invoice and one contact person.
Cash management is not an accessory, it is a duty. DevyPOS records every transaction unalterably and hands out the data in the required format.
Every receipt is stored consecutively and never overwritten. A void is its own transaction referring to the original receipt.
An interim status at any time, an end-of-day closing per till – automatically at a set night-time hour if you wish.
Master data, receipt headers, line items and payment types as a zip file for your tax adviser and for a cash inspection.
A note on the technical security device (TSE): connecting a certified cloud TSE under section 146a of the German Fiscal Code is part of setting up your business and is done before you go live. We tell you openly which parts are ready at the time of your start – and put it in writing in the quotation.
The quickest way to find out is a demo: you show us your workflow, we show you the till on top of it.
